1) What are TendHer Buddies
These balls are made of rubber.
2) Why can't I use tennis balls?
Tennis balls are slippery and squishy compared to TendHer Buddies. The TendHer Buddies are made of stronger, denser material that gives you a good "dig" into your tight muscles without collapsing. They are also grippier than tennis balls and don't slide away when you roll on them.
3) What about lacrosse balls then?
Lacrosse balls are dense, but a little too dense and could hurt you when you roll on them. Also, because they are so dense, they are less grippy on the skin and also roll away from you when you roll on them.
4) Do I need two balls or is one sufficient?
Depending on what your target area is, you may want to use one or two balls at a time. One ball works well to roll out the feet, one side of your hips or the IT band. But two balls work together to roll out the glutes, the lower back and also the base of the neck. We invite you to experiment and try for yourself what works the best!
